My aim in writing this book is to present ideas that I have used repeatedly and shared with others over the years. The categories chosen will guide you to the correct section. There are over one hundred ideas spread over seven sections. I’ve listed books, poems, and websites that I’ve used and found helpful over my career. I’ve provided examples where possible to assist you in knowing how I used the ideas. I put my heart into this book so I’m hoping you will enjoy it as you read each section. I hope it’s as much for you as it was for me writing it. I think that you will find this resource one that you will come to time and time again and add to it on a weekly basis. I’ve left room throughout the book for your own favorites. It is my dream that you will look upon it as a helpful resource and share it with others as well. I’m hoping that it will be a cornucopia of ideas to make teaching rewarding for both you and your students. If you are passionate about working with children as I have been for over thirty years, you will cling to anything that will enrich each day.
