Nancy Kinsman has been open hearth cooking for over twenty years at various historical sites in Ontario, Canada. Her love of history found a home at Battlefield House Museum. With this encouragement, Nancy worked as a senior medical laboratory technologist by day while studying history in the evenings. She eventually received a B.A. from the University of Toronto. At Black Creek Pioneer Village, Nancy continued her research in culinary history. This book fulfills a lifetime goal of writing and publishing a book.
