There are so many factors that come into play that decide the outcome of a stroke. This book, although it is how I remember my journey, should not be used as an ideal. The purpose of telling my story is to provide hope and inspiration to others going through a devastating situation such as a stroke. Stories in this book are of how I recall the things that happened around me and to me, as well as what I have read in my hospital records and things I have done for myself. I was also told later, by other people, about some situations that I was unable to see for myself at the time. Every attempt has been made to provide the true facts of my personal journey.
