I created this book of recipes for our children Karen, Paul, and Diana and their spouses Aaron, Bich Ngoc, and Bobby, and our beautiful grandchildren Lauren, Elise, Noah, Sydney, Quintin, Leah, Anna and Jackie. I wish to thank my husband Joe, who is always willing to eat whatever I prepare, and whose discerning palate and insightful comments over the years have helped hone my culinary skills.. Thank you also to friends and family whose recipes I have included. The photographs are of the beautiful Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, where we now live.
Judith Jones Muchowski was born in Francistown, Botswana, and resided in Zambia and Zimbabwe until the age of 20. Since then she has lived in Canada, Mexico City, and Northern California. While in California she worked as a Technical Writer for Hewlett Packard. She and her husband Joseph Muchowski returned to Canada in 2005, where they now live in West Kelowna, British Columbia. They have three children, and eight grandchildren, who all reside in the United States.
