This book is written about a true story At 11 years old, I was labeled a slow child. At 23, I made a conscious decision to change the direction my life was headed. I wanted an education and leave behind me the fact that I was illiterate. When pursuing my education, I lived on the streets, for two different time periods. I had to face countless obstacles, which did not come without major sacrifice. This book tells the story of the many challenges that I had to endure when wanting to achieve my goal.
