If your injuries permit, get as much information as you can about any other vehicles involved in the accident. Get the driver’s name, the car owner’s name, the make, model, year, colour and condition of the vehicle, the vehicle’s license plate number, the driver’s and owner’s addresses, and the name of the driver’s and owner’s insurance companies. Much of this information is usually on the police report. Get a copy of the police report and keep it in a safe place.
