Description
Lunenburg Letters is the fulfillment of a longtime dream for me. In the writing of it I have tried to maintain historical accuracy in the dates and events. The Mattern and Hess families are fictional; many of the other people are real. Without the benefit of journals I have had to imagine their actions and reactions and thus fictionalize their words and what happens to them. For ease of reading I have omitted reference to the calendar changes that occurred during this time, namely the Gregorian vs Julian also known as “Old Style” vs “New Style”.
