I wrote this book because the world is a daunting place and it’s aff ecting me. I feel I’m missing something important in my life. I think a lot of other people feel this way, too. I believe the experience so many of us lack is a healthy and regular dose of passion in our work, and perhaps in our lives. I’m not creating enough opportunities to be truly passionate in my work and my life. I believe the same thing is true for far too many people today. Our world has changed so much just in the last ten years. You know what I mean because you hear about it every day. When you read the paper or watch the news on television, over time it becomes so obvious that things aren’t what they used to be – or what they should be.
