By blurring theistic differences of one supernaturalism with another so similar in scope; and by “… purposefully and systematically erasing the many distinctions between these former systems…” this “church-maker class” imposed itself upon people populating the 4th century Roman Empire – an Empire that had just barely survived a serious “Third Century Crisis” but had still been in a state of “Free-Fall”, per se! One result of the recombination of theistic themes was the Universal [Catholic] Church becoming [the] Supreme religion in a Graeco-Roman world lasting for centuries – albeit upon an infamous “Schismatic” state of being!
