Welcome to Skulls Volume II! This book is the companion to Skulls Volume I, and continues with much the same theme – great skulls by great artists from around the world. Many of the same artists have contributed to SVII, but there are some new additions as well. I hope you enjoy turning the pages as much as I did putting them together. It has been a real honor and privilege to compile these artist renderings of a subject that fascinates and gives enjoyment to so many of us. I am continuously amazed at the variety of styles of skulls I receive for these books. Artists who have added their drawings to this volume all interpret the skull in their own unique way, and we can enjoy the fruits of their labor and smile or gasp at the creativity that goes into each picture. From the highly stylized, to the cartoonish, to the old-school tattoo themes, 121 individual works of art, all of which can stand alone on their own merits, are given us to appreciate with each turning of the page. I am still delighted going back and noticing details in each piece that I may have missed before.
