Stepping Into His Presence was borne out of many missteps along the way, but Margaret loved the Lord from the time she was a child. Learning about Him in Catechism, she took that excitement home with her and started reading a children’s bible, and books of the saints and martyrs. Tumbles and starts, and two failed marriages caused her to pick up her pen and write to Him. She always knew He was listening. But most of all, she knew He loved her. When all else failed, He did not, and He provided for her and her children in miraculous ways. is the result of years of daily meditations on the scriptures, going to bible studies and years in non-denominational churches, until the Lord led her back to the Catholic Church. For the past two years she has been leading , an in-depth, and inter-active bible study group at St. Andrew’s Cathedral. “This is the passion of my life,” she says. “I come truly alive in that room, the very room in which I learned my Catechism sixty years ago.”
