Description
It was a sunny day in Simpleton. Danny was playing baseball on the street outside his house with his best friends Phillip, Raulph, and Ruby. Danny’s younger sister Elizabeth was sitting on the street curb watching. “Hit it to me,” Raulph called from down the street. Danny was pitching, Ruby was catching, and Phillip was hitting. Danny looked from side to side like pitchers always do. He wound up and pitched his Super-Sneaky-Curveball that no one in the 4th grade could ever hit. “Strike three!” Elizabeth called from the side; Phillip had swung at the ball and missed.
