I come from a family who strongly believe that you should always have chocolate cake at birthdays. When our son, Justin, turned one year old, I made sure I introduced him to chocolate cake. That first birthday, Justin wasn’t too sure about this “stuff” that his mother was feeding him. But when he turned two and got his second chance to try chocolate cake, he was very receptive. He reached out and took a large handful of icingcovered, homemade chocolate cake and shoved it all into his little mouth. YUM! From then on, Justin was an avid fan of chocolate cake!
