Sara Campbell: blonde, blue eyed girl, very outgoing and happy. Lost her parents in car accident and had to move in with her aunt and uncle and cousin. Bubbly and friendly but even a well-adapted youngster needs time to adapt to a new environment.
Julia Lawson: brown eyed dark haired girl and a quiet sort. Her dad seems to have an anger issue and tends to treat his daughter rather nasty sometimes with his yelling. Julia has some learning issues that her father disbelieves so as she progresses through school, she falls behind much to her father’s disgust.
Annie Smyth: blue eyed red-head, who was out going and generally happy most of the time. She had three older brothers and a stepfather who were argumentative an unpleasant to her. Her parents divorced when the four kids were very young. Annie`s mom Ali, loved her daughter but was secretly afraid of her husband Ray and her own three sons and what they could do if she ever “disrespected Ray”. One day, Ali finds her voice and retaliates against her husband and three sons.
Jaime Johnson: brown eyed and long black hair. Had been in beauty pageants since she was could walk. Was an only child. Mother lives vicariously through her daughter and forces her into the pageants until one day young Jamie retaliates. Jaime`s mom Tami was a very overbearing woman who enjoyed making her daughter’s life miserable since Jaime has quit pagents.
