Dr. Mitchel Thornton is the founder and president of Agape Harvest Northwest. This is a revivalist Catholic Christian Ministry which primarily focuses on the spiritual needs of the incarcerated, parolees and ex-felons seeking a new way of life outside of crime; as well as ministering to the needs of all Catholics who have either lost their way, or need some help on their journey back to the Mother Church. While incarcerated himself, Dr. Thornton experienced the mercy of God and reaffirmed his faith both in Christ and the Catholic Church. During his time behind the walls, Dr. Thornton earned his Th.B from Anchor Theological Seminary & Bible Institute; his M.B.S. from Calvary Christian College & Seminary; and his D.B.S from Calvary Christian College. Dr. Thornton currently resides in the inland Northwest where he continues to reach out through his writing and ministry to all those who have experienced the depths of despair that come with prison. Whether currently incarcerated or recently released, Dr. Thornton believes in the restorative power of Jesus Christ through the Sacraments of the Church and the love of Christ Himself.
